Sadolin Yacht is a high quality, clear solvent-borne full bodied lacquer with a UV-filter for exterior areas. Sadolin Yacht is suitable for all exterior woodwork above the waterline.

Preparation Previously painted surfaces should be stripped back to bare wood and treated in the same way as new timber. Previously lacquered or stained surfaces need only a light sanding before the application of Sadolin Yacht as long as the surfaces are clean and free from grease, polish etc. Please note that previous coats which have been in contact with salt water should be cleaned and raised with fresh water or sanded back to bare timber before the application of Sadolin Yacht to achieve the best adhesion. Resinous wood has to be cleaned with cellulose thinners before application.
Application New timber or surfaces sanded back to bare timber should be primed with either Sadolin Base for timber protection or with a coat of Sadolin Yacht thinned with white spirit in the ratio of 1 part white spirit to 4 parts Sadolin Yacht.
Stir well before and during application and apply with a brush. Do not apply at temperatures below 5?C. Apply 2-3 coats depending on the finish and the durability required.
Drying Time Touch dry: 4-6 hours.
Repainting: Subsequent coats can be applied after 8-10 hours.
Coverage Approximately 8-10m2/litre on planed wood.
Cleaning Clean the brushes immediately after use in white spirit and afterward with soapy water.
Important Information Protect from frost.
Shelf life: (Unopened) at least 5 years from production date.
